TERMS & CONDITIONS

Introduction

At Isabella & Bay we aim to make our relationship with you as informal as possible, during the period whilst we deliver classes. To minimise the risk of any misunderstanding, we set out below the terms and conditions under which we accept bookings for our classes, and what is expected of our parents and carers.

Booking

We use a booking system called "Bookwhen" which schedules class availability in a location, including the start and finish dates, and the total cost. Once completed with your details, the system takes you to the Stripe payment process, and payment taken using either a debit or credit card.

Our Obligations

We will always use our best endeavours to deliver those classes scheduled, and for which full payment has already been made, but there may be circumstances where these endeavours are frustrated by circumstances outside our control, such as venue failure, extremes of weather, transport breakdown, serious illness or medical emergency, etc.

In such exceptional circumstances, we will endeavour to provide as much notice as possible to class attendees, using both email, and SMS text messaging, and in the event of a scheduled class not being held, use our every endeavour to ensure the outstanding class/es are delivered at a later date.

Cancellation and Refunds

Because our classes are small, and bespoke, it will be appreciated that in the event of a booking previously made being cancelled by a customer, we cannot provide a refund for any classes not attended as previously booked. It also means we cannot accept any transfers between customers should a customer cancellation be made. In the exceptional circumstance where Isabella & Bay cancel one or more classes and are unable, again because of circumstances beyond our control, to deliver such classes at an appropriate date thereafter, then a pro rata refund will be made for those cancelled classes.

Health and Safety

We take your health and safety seriously, and make every effort to ensure the cleanliness of the equipment we use in our classes. To minimise infection risk, we ask that customers or their babies suffering from any serious infection, or exhibiting sickness symptoms, do not attend a class, but notify us as soon as practicable in the event of proposed non-attendance.

We ask, during the booking process, you to provide answers to medical questions, but in advance of starting our classes, if you are aware of any condition which might be an issue as a result of our programme, you should obtain medical advice, and if appropriate, obtain a consent from your medical professional and provide that consent to us. Isabella & Bay cannot take any responsibility for any injury or condition suffered or sustained, as a result of a failure to adhere to advice given, or which should have been obtained by the customer, using appropriate standards of care in all the circumstances, or for failing to adhere to the instructions given during one of our classes. If you have been advised by a medical professional not to continue with the Isabella & Bay classes - whether for you, or your baby - we ask that you inform us without delay, but responsibility for adhering to that medical advice, is yours alone. Personal property

Isabella & Bay cannot take responsibility for customers’ own property whether in the venue, or outside it.

Photographs

Parents and carers are respectfully reminded not to include other customers or babies in the class when taking photographs of their own baby. Isabella & Bay may, periodically, take and wish to use photographs taken during our classes in publicitymaterial, but will always seek written permission in advance of such photography, and later use of images. We sometimes receive images taken by parents/ carers of their own babies by email or social media and may wish to use those images in publicity material. We will always seek formal consent to such use in advance.

Complaints

Isabella & Bay are always ready to listen and respond to any concerns parents and carers may have in connection with our classes. We encourage you to contact us by mobile, text, or email at the earliest opportunity to discuss any issue you might have, and we will use our best endeavours to resolve any issue raised with us, without delay.
